Jake Roth

August 11, 1992 — June 11, 2022

Jacob Maurice Roth, age 29, of Saint Louis, Missouri passed away on Saturday, June 11, 2022 in Bridgeton, Missouri. He was born in St. Louis, Missouri on August 11, 1992 to Michael "Ozzie" and Laura Roth (nee Pashia).

Jacob is survived by his Father, Michael "Ozzie" Roth of O Fallon, MO; Mother, Laura Roth of O Fallon, MO; Sister, Erica (Ben) Guittar; Sister, Becca Roth; Niece, Hattie Guittar; Nephew, Harvey Guittar; Grandmother, Faye Pashia; Grandfather, Rocky Roth; Godmother, Jeanette Pashia-Riley; Godfather, Dennis Roth and a host of other family members and friends.

He was preceded in death by his Grandfather, Maurice Pashia; Grandmother, Carol Roth; and Aunt, Linda Grillo (Pashia).

Growing up, Jake loved playing soccer, hockey, football and baseball. He attended grade school at Immaculate Conception in Dardenne Prairie and high school at St. Dominic.

Jake was a fun-loving young man who enjoyed spending time with family and friends. He cared very much about the people around him and would do anything for anyone. If you needed his help, you could call him anytime. He would give a stranger the shirt off of his back.

Jake had a great and hilarious sense of humor - always finding the funny in everything and very quick witted. If he thought you might find it funny too, you may get a text with a silly meme or video he was scrolling past and found. He might even call to tell you his latest joke.

Jake was also really great with kids - he loved playing sports with them, wrestling, video games and being a kid himself. He previously coached U5 girls soccer through O'Fallon with both of his sisters.

Jake loved Florida, deep sea fishing, and the ocean. Jake enjoyed listening to old country music, writing poetry, throwing horseshoes with his dad at the Knights of Columbus and any fun party game someone brought : darts, dice, or cards. He was very social, well-known and up for a fun time.

He lived simply and didn't need a lot. He will be greatly missed by his family, friends and anyone who knew him.

We would love to hear any great memories you have about Jake. To share a memory of Jacob or leave a special message for his family, please visit the guestbook below.
