Adolph Arthur Wilson, Jr., age 72, of St. Paul, Missouri passed away on Saturday, April 30, 2016 at his home. He was born in Portageville, Missouri on May 2, 1943 a son of Adolphus, Sr. and Emma Jane (Northington) Wilson.
Adolph was a graduate of Portageville High School, a veteran with the U.S. Air Force, and was a Paint Mixer at Ford Motor Company for 38 years, retiring in 2003. Upon retirement he helped his son with his construction business. He loved fishing and was an avid coin collector. On May 23, 1964, in Boekerton MO, he married the former Patricia Malone.
Mr. Wilson is survived by his Wife of 51 years Pat; a Son, Tom Wilson and wife Cindy of St. Charles, MO, a Daughter, Tina Johnson of St. Charles, MO, also a father figure to Joe Turnbough and wife Jennifer of Parker, CO, Patrick Thompson of Tulsa, OK and Shari Monson (deceased); five brothers, Vernon Wilson of Berwyn IL, Glynn Wilson of Troy MO, Robert Wilson of Farmington MO, Larry Wilson and wife LouAnn of Milan TX and Danny Paul Wilson and wife Judy of Franklin Park IL; four sisters, Beckey Plechsmid and husband Roy of Stickney IL, Sue Kramer and husband David of Berkley MO, Mary Wilson of Melrose Park IL and Barbara Fisher of Friars Point MS; 8 grandchildren (Melissa, Allison, Angela, Jordyn, Dominic, Austin, Rylee, and Logan), 3 great grandchildren (Maybrie, Jackson, and Reid); and a host of other family members and friends.
He was preceded in death by his parents; brothers Sammy, Eugene, Jerry and Jimmy Wilson; and a sister Peggy Graham.
A Funeral Service for Adolph Wilson will be 1:00 pm Friday, May 6, 2016 at Newcomer Funeral Home, 837 Mid Rivers Mall Drive, St. Peters, Missouri 63376 with Rev. Chris James officiating. Interment will follow in St. Charles Memorial Gardens.
