Albert Eugene Quevreaux

Albert Eugene Quevreaux, born on March 6, 1937, passed away peacefully on November 13, 2024. He was a cherished husband, father, grandfather, and friend renowned for his hard work and dedication to his family. Throughout his life, Albert cultivated a number of interests that showcased his adventurous spirit and love for the great outdoors. He was an avid hunter and fisherman, often finding peace and fulfillment in nature. His passion for hiking and travel took him to many beautiful destinations, but one of his favorite retreats was his home away from home in Steelville, Missouri, where he enjoyed the scenic views above the Meramec River. In addition to his outdoor pursuits, Albert had a profound love for Corvettes, which reflected his vibrant personality and zest for life.

Albert is survived by his devoted wife, Doris Quevreaux, who stood by his side through all of life's journeys. He leaves behind his loving daughter, Karen (Greg) Miller of Saint Peters, Missouri, and his son, Keith (Julie) Quevreaux of Harrisburg, Missouri. The joy of grandfatherhood brought him immense happiness, and he is survived by four grandchildren: Lindsay (Russell) Snyder, Jordan Petrich, Taylor Miller, and Wyatt Quevreaux. Albert is also remembered by a host of other family members and friends who were touched by his generous spirit and warm heart.

He was preceded in death by his father, Albert Quevreaux, and his mother, Ilamae Quevreaux, whose legacies live on through the values and love that Albert imparted to his family.

Visitation for Albert will be held on December 4, 2024, from 1:00 PM to 5:00 PM at Newcomer Funeral Home, located at 837 Mid Rivers Mall, St. Peters, MO 63376. Following the visitation, a memorial service will take place at the same location at 5:00 PM, providing an opportunity for all who knew him to gather and celebrate his life. Albert Eugene Quevreaux will be deeply missed, but his memory will forever remain alive in the hearts of all those he loved.
