Allen Alvin Black, age 87, of Saint Charles, Missouri passed away on Saturday, December 3, 2016 in St. Charles, Missouri. He was born in Butler County, Missouri on July 10, 1929 to Lawrence W. and Eva P. Black (nee Gary). Allen was a Self Employed General Contractor, a U.S. Army Veteran and a member of the St. Charles American Legion.
Survivors include his Daughter, Vicki (Ron) Nixon of Saint Charles, MO, Son, Douglas (Denise) Shepard of Lake St. Louis, MO, Son, Ronald Shepard of Wappapello, MO, Daughter, Gail Shepard-Cook of Wappapello, MO; 11 Grandchildren and 13 Great-grandchildren.
He was preceded in death by his parents; 4 brothers, Arlin, Tinker, Berlin and Max Black and a sister Helen Johnson.
Visitation will be Friday, December 9, 2016 from 11:00 am until 1:30 pm at Newcomer Funeral Home. Funeral Services will be 1:30 pm at Newcomer Funeral Home, 837 Mid Rivers Mall Drive, St. Peters, Missouri 63376. Interment will be in St. Charles Memorial Gardens.
