Amanda Arlie Titus, age 62, of Saint Peters, Missouri passed away on Tuesday, January 10, 2023 in Saint Peters, Missouri. She was born in Chalfont England, on August 19, 1960 to David and Virginia Wigmore (nee Varne).
We say goodbye to a wonderful woman who has certainly left an impact on those she has known. She was loved by all and gave her time, love, and friendship to countless people. Her radiant smile would light up a room and would spark any conversation. Amanda met her husband Jim in 1980 while he was stationed in England and they were married in 1981. Mum loved spending time with her husband and had a wonderful relationship with her children, grandchildren, family, and friends. She was an avid reader, and you could always count on her getting the latest Danielle Steele book. She was a huge lover of animals and would always claim her family pets as "Her Dogs." Away from home, she loved going to Florida and Branson on vacations as well as traveling to England to visit her family and friends. Although she called the US home, she was always connected to her roots in England.
Amanda is survived by her beloved Son, James Brett Titus; beloved Granny to; Sophia Laumeier, Maci Titus; beloved Son, Scott David (Lillian) Titus; beloved Granny to, Lucas Titus, Madelyn Titus; dear Sister, Jenny (Tony) Scholes; dear Brother, Chris Wigmore; and a host of other family members and friends.
She was preceded in death by her beloved Husband, James L. Titus; beloved Parents, David and Virginia Wigmore; and beloved Son, Luke Titus.
Funeral Ceremony will be 10:30 am, January 23, 2023, at St. Peters Chapel, Newcomer Cremations, Funerals & Receptions, 837 Mid Rivers Mall Drive, St. Peters, Missouri 63376. Visitation will be from 9:00 am until 10:30 am at St. Peters Chapel. Interment to follow at Jefferson Barracks National Cemetery.
