Amy Virginia Light

Amy Virginia Light, born on January 5, 1969, passed away on January 7, 2025. She leaves behind a legacy filled with cherished memories and a loving family that will remember her fondly.

Throughout her life, Amy embraced every moment with enthusiasm. She enjoyed working part-time at McDonald's, where her cheerful spirit brightened the days of both her colleagues and customers alike. Her devotion to her work was matched only by her passion for life itself.

A true lover of music and dancing, Amy found joy in the rhythms that accompanied her daily life. She also had a special affection for animals, which brought her much happiness. In her leisure time, Amy delighted in watching old-time TV shows, allowing herself to reminisce about cherished moments from the past. Her athleticism shone during her younger years playing basketball, a testament to her spirited personality and love for teamwork.

Amy is survived by her brother, Gregory (Lynne) Light; two brothers, Kevin Light and Doug (Marge) Light; two sisters, Lisa (Rick) Klug and Jennifer (Jeremy) Holway; and a host of other family members and friends who hold her memory close to their hearts.

She was preceded in death by her father, Gerald Light; mother, Noma Light; and her long-standing boyfriend, Gary. Their absence is deeply felt, but the love they shared continues to inspire those who survive her.

As we remember Amy Virginia Light, let us celebrate the light she brought into our lives and the joy she shared with everyone around her. Her spirit will forever be a part of the hearts she touched.
