Anneliese S. Wein

Anneliese Sibylla Wein, age 86, of O'Fallon, Missouri passed away on Tuesday, May 10, 2022 in O'Fallon, Missouri. She was born in Kaiserslautern, Rhineland-Palantinate on May 23, 1935 to Leo and Anna Nuttgens (nee Beiler).


Anneliese was the owner of Creve Coeur Taylor since 1985, which is now owned by Angie Kriss. She was a proud German who became a U.S. citizen on July of 1967. She took pride in her children, painting, cooking, gardening, and her tailoring. She was devoted to her Catholic faith, and was a loving mother, grandmother, and great-grandmother. She touched many lives and will be missed by all.

Anneliese is survived by her children, Henry E. (Laura) Kriss, Peter R. (Kristie) Kriss, Angela M. (Chris) Kriss, and Tom M. (Cindy) Kriss; grandchildren, Randy (Brittany) Bugnitz, Ryan Bugnitz, Nathan (Amanda) Kriss, Brandon (Tricia) Kriss, April (Kellen) Chesnutt, Brittany Bugnitz, Olivia (Andrew) Campbell, Luke Kriss, Brendan Bugnitz, Todd Kriss, Cameron Bugnitz, Calina (Austin) Bugnitz, and Nicole Kriss; great-grandchildren, Adriana Bugnitz, Brayden Bugnitz, Cruze Bugnitz, Sierra Bugnitz, and Luella Kriss; step-children, Steven, Karen, and Robert (Yulia) Wein, and a host of other family members and friends.


She was preceded in death by her parents, Leo Nuttgens and Anna A. Nuttgens.
