Arthur "Don" Schneider

Arthur "Don" Schneider, age 86, of Saint Charles, Missouri passed away on Tuesday, January 9, 2024, at home surrounded by his family. He was born in Saint Louis, Missouri on March 26,1937 to Arthur and Gladys Schneider.

Don was married to his wife Kathleen and together raised their family of six children. Throughout the years, he enjoyed travelling with his wife, coaching softball, baseball, and soccer teams. Don volunteered his time to many events at St. Sabina Catholic Church. He enjoyed playing handball, cards, bingo, reading and fishing. Don was also an avid St. Louis Cardinals fan.

Don is survived by his children, Laura (Doug) O'Neal, Patricia Kohlenhoefer, Kimberly Davis, Elaine Schneider (Charlie Hilse), Robert Schneider, and James Schneider; his grandchildren, Kaitlyn (Brandon), Michael (Megan), Melissa (Jake), Michelle (Tad), Casey (Rich), Nathan, Alex (Stephanie), and Teddy; and his great-grandchildren, Brenden, Ryann, Chase, Nora, Ian, Frankie, Calla, Richie, Scotty, Hayden, and Roman. He will be dearly missed by many other family members and friends.

He was preceded in death by his parents, Arthur and Gladys Schneider, his wife, Kathleen Schneider; and his sons-in-law, Scott Kohlenhoefer and John Davis.
