August Louis Chilese Jr., age 92, of Saint Charles, Missouri passed away on Sunday, March 17, 2024. He was born on September 9, 1931 in Saint Louis on "The Hill" to Elenora Elise (nee Scalzotto) and Augusto Lugina Chilese.
August is survived by his daughters, Teresa Marie Bryant, Cynthia Lynn (William) Westervelt-Wallis, and Regina R. (Melody) Chilese; his sons, David August (Stacey) Chilese, and Daniel L. (Leslie) Chilese; his 11 grandchildren, his 5 great-grandchildren; and a host of other beloved family members, neighbors and friends.
He was preceded in death by his wife, Virginia Elenore Chilese; his father, Augusto Lugina Chilese Sr.; his mother, Elenora Elise Chilese; and his sister, Margaret Lillian Caimi.
Visitation will be from 9:00 am until 10:00 am with a memorial funeral service following at 10:00 am at St. Peters Chapel, Newcomer Cremations, Funerals & Receptions, 837 Mid Rivers Mall Drive, St. Peters, Missouri 63376. Burial will follow at Resurrection Cemetery in Saint Louis.
