Barbara Barley

Barbara J. Barley, age 77, of Troy, Missouri passed away on Sunday, April 7, 2024 in Troy, Missouri. She was born in St. Louis, Missouri on December 4, 1946 to Stanley and Fae Taylor (nee Clark). She married Myron Dale Barley on November 4, 1997 in St. Charles, Missouri and they were married for 26 loving years.

Barbara loved spending her time sewing and crafting but most of all she loved spending time with her family.

Barbara is survived by her husband, Myron Dale Barley; daughters, Louisa (Clarence Buckmaster) Baur; Deborah (Brian) Walsh; Angelia (Adrian Warren) Brock; step-daughter, Christina (Don) Baker; daughter-in-law, Debbie Hammer; son-in-law, J.R. Bushdiecker; brother, Thom (Julie) Taylor; 14 Grandchildren; 21 Great-Grandchildren; and a host of other family members and friends.

She was preceded in death by her parents, Stanley and Fae Taylor; son, Michael Hammer; daughter, Melanie Bushdiecker; and brothers, Jim Taylor and John Taylor.

All services will take place on Friday, April 12, 2024 at Newcomer St. Peters Chapel located at 837 Mid Rivers Mall Dr., St. Peters, MO 63376. Visitation will begin at 5:00pm with a funeral ceremony starting at 6:00pm. Following the ceremony, additional visitation will be until 8:00pm. Interment will take place on Monday, April 15, 2024. Family and friends will be gathering at Newcomer St. Peters Chapel at 9:15am to process down to Jefferson Barracks for a 10:45am service at one of their roadside shelters.
