Barbara Jane Gardner, age 73, of Wentzville, Missouri passed away on Saturday, December 16, 2017 in Saint Charles, Missouri. She was born in Heber Springs, Arkansas on July 27, 1944 to Alfred her "Buck" and Helen Freeman (nee Dial). Barbara was a Surgical Assistant at Calico Rock Medical Center, Calico Rock Arkansas for 20 years, retiring in 2011 and moving to Missouri to be near her family.
Survivors include her Daughter, Mary (Brian) Openlander of Wentzville, MO, a Son, Thomas (Jeannette) Morse of Berlin, Germany; grandchildren: Sarah Wygant, Drew Foster, Madeline Neistat, Ian Morse, Grant Morse, Connor Openlander, Chase Openlander and Camryn Openlander; and great-grandchildren, Abby and Joey Bewig and Aiden Custer.
She was preceded in death by her husband Melvin Gardner, parents, a Daughter, Diedre Wygant-Foster and a grandson Benjamin Neistat.
Funeral Services will be 7:00 pm Thursday, December 21, 2017 at Newcomer-St. Peters Chapel, 837 Mid Rivers Mall Drive, St. Peters, Missouri 63376. Visitation will be prior to services from 5:00 pm until 7:00 pm and Interment will be private.
