Barbara Jean Leeman (nee; Kayser) passed peacefully Sunday, August 14, 2022.
Barb was born on July 14th 1939 in St. Louis, MO to Harry & Frances Kayser. She attended Maryland Heights High School and graduated in 1957. Barb married Albert Leeman of Maryland Heights on August 16, 1958 at St. Judes Catholic Church. They have four children; Christine (Bob) Hawthorne, Debra (John) Mauer, Angela (Roy) Neal, and the late Albert Leeman, Jr.
Barb's grandchildren were her pride and joy. They were blessed to have a loving grandma like her. She was the OG.

She was a special GiGi to; Raegan, Landon, Lorraine, Iaasc, & Benjamin.
Barb is survived by her siblings; Pat (the late Don) Logar, Ron (the late Ruth) Kayser, Robert (Toni) Kayser, Ruth (Keith) Gosejohan, John (Mary) Kayser, and the late Harry Kayser, Her in-laws; the late Harold (Mary Ellen) Leeman and Joyce (the late Dan) Scaggs and her companion Hans Gebhardt, and a host of nieces, nephews, cousins, and friends, too many to name.
Barb worked at Famous Barr for 30+ years. She was a waitress at North West Plaza in the Coffee Shop. But she also worked at Northland Shopping Center, West County, South County, and the Downtown City Center restaurants. She retired from Macy's.
Barb loved watching the St. Louis Cardinals and St. Louis Blues!
Barb loved to go to the Casino and play the Slots. She never over indulged but her "handle" was SlotQueen!
Barb was a beautiful person who sought to find the good in everyone. Everyone who meet Barb loved her.
Visitation: 3:00 pm until 5:00 pm
Service: 5:00 pm
Second Visitation: 5:30 pm until 7:00 pm
All services will take place at St. Peters Chapel, Newcomer Cremations, Funerals & Receptions, 837 Mid Rivers Mall Drive, St. Peters, Missouri 63376.
In lieu of flowers the family asks that donations be made to American Kidney Foundation or Stray Paws Rescue.
