Barbara Sue Legate

Barbara Sue Legate, age 79, of Saint Charles, Missouri passed away on Wednesday, February 12, 2020. She was born in Sikeston, Missouri on February 14, 1940 to Everett and Cora Masters (nee Harbison).

Barbara is survived by her daughter, Debra (Walter) Salwitz of Palm Bay, FL, sons, John Legate of Granite City, IL, and Michael Legate of Hiawatha, IA, daughters, Sandra Cantrell of Sikeston, MO, Kimberly (Christian) Dunman of Saint Peters, MO, and Barb (Vern) Zakostelecky of Cedar Rapids, IA, two brothers, Everett (Loretta) Masters of Marble Hill, MO, and Lonnie (Margaret) Masters of Sikeston, MO, two sisters, Corene Harnish of Marion, IL, and Carol Hunt of Blythville, AR, eleven grandchildren, thirteen great-grandchildren and a host of other family members and friends. She was preceded in death by her parents, Everett and Cora Masters, two brothers, Frank and Norman Masters and two sisters, Connie Foster and Virginia Gurnow.

Visitation will be from 9:00 ~ 11:00 am Thursday, February 20, 2020 at Newcomer Cremations, Funerals & Receptions, 837 Mid Rivers Mall Drive, St. Peters, Missouri, with a funeral service starting at 11:00am. Burial will follow in Old St John's Cemetery, Granite City, IL.
