Barbara J. Powell, age 77, passed away on March 4, 2023 in St. Louis, MO. Beloved wife of James Powell; dear mother of Kathy (Chris) Murphy and Doug (Mandie) Farrell; dear stepmother of Neil (Judy) Powell; dear grandmother of Kyle, Taylor and Megan Murphy, Jackson and Kennedy Farrell; dear sister of Jan (Harvey) Hatridge; dear friend of Linda Plengemeier; dear sister-in-law, aunt, great aunt, cousin and friend to many.
Barbara was born in Philadelphia, PA on April 30, 1945 to the late Bill and Jean Crawford. She moved to St. Louis at the age of 9 and graduated from Kirkwood High School in 1963. She enjoyed playing tennis, bridge, and mahjong, doing puzzles and being with her family.
Visitation will be Friday, April 7, 2023 from 1:00 pm until 3:00 pm at West County Chapel, Newcomer Cremations, Funerals & Receptions, 2211 Clarkson Rd, Chesterfield, Missouri 63017. Funeral Ceremony to follow at 3:00 pm at West County Chapel.
