Barbara Rockwell

Barbara Rockwell, born on May 1, 1941, left this world on March 25, 2025, leaving behind a legacy of love, resilience, and unwavering spirit. Throughout her life, Barbara exemplified the virtues of kindness and compassion, touching the hearts of all who were fortunate enough to know her.

As an affectionate sister, she is survived by her beloved sister, Joan Krieger, and two devoted brothers, Ward Rockwell and Bill Allen (Phyllis) Rockwell. Barbara was a mother to her two daughters, Christine Marshall-Waggoner and Sherry Hilliard-Smirl, as well as her two sons, Dennis Henson and Forrest Parks. Eight grandchildren and Fifteen great-grandchildren The warmth of her spirit will continue to resonate through her cherished family members, which include her niece, Dawn (Robert) Williams, as well as her close friends Carol Smith and Kathy Hoskins. She also leaves behind a host of family members and friends who will miss her dearly.

Barbara was preceded in death by her loving mother, Mary Elizabeth Rockwell, and her father, Vernon Edgar Rockwell. She was also preceded by her brother, Vernon E. Rockwell, Jr., and her son, Michael Hilliard. Their memories will forever remain woven into the tapestry of Barbara's life, guiding those who remain with their love and presence.

As we remember Barbara Rockwell, we celebrate not only her journey through life but also the many lives she impacted with her warmth and generosity. She will be deeply missed by all who knew her and will forever hold a special place in their hearts.
