Bennie Wilburn Goodwin, age 88, of Saint Charles (formerly Florissant), Missouri went home to Jesus on Wednesday, July 27, 2022. He was born in Marianna, Arkansas on March 13, 1934 to Wilburn ("Pete") and Gladys Goodwin (nee Smith). He was married to Polly Goodwin for 59 years. Bennie was a Marketing Manager for 32 years at Angelica Uniform Company.

His church lay leadership was exhibited for decades at First Baptist Church of Ferguson, Missouri and more recently at Waypoint Church in St Charles. He enjoyed singing in the choir, teaching Sunday School, serving as a Deacon, and being involved in many other ministries. He also enjoyed leading a Monday Bible Study group at Fairwinds, as well as sending out a periodic bible study to a large group via email.
Bennie was a veteran of the US Navy during the Korean War. He graduated from University of Arkansas, where he met and married his bride, Polly, and both were lifelong fans of the Razorbacks, passing it on to the next (and next!) generations.
