Bette Ann Bolton, age 83, of Saint Peters, Missouri passed away on Wednesday, April 17, 2024 in St. Peters, Missouri. She was born in Louisiana, Missouri on August 27, 1940 to Lloyd and Dotty Jeffries (nee Burgess).
Bette was a Cafeteria Worker for the St. Charles School District for over 15 years. She was married to Wilford Bolton for 47 years.
Bette was an avid Cardinal's fan. She loved Elvis Presley and her favorite color was red. She enjoyed reading and listening and dancing to music. Most of all, she loved spending time with her family.
Bette was a proud graduate and the valedictorian of Wellston High School Class of 1958. She was also a long-time member of St. Charles Christian Church, Disciples of Christ. She was very active in the church's disciples women's fellowship (DWF) group.
Bette is survived by her Son, Terry (Carol) Bolton of O'Fallon, Missouri; Two Daughters, Lisa (Brian) Richardson of Saint Charles, Missouri, Kathy Bolton of Saint Peters, Missouri; Two grandchildren, Brandon Richardson, Bailey (Braden) Mabry; Great-Grandchild, Antoinette Mabry; Brother, Jack (Shirley) Jeffries of Little Elm, Texas; and a host of other family members and friends.
She was preceded in death by her Father, Lloyd George Jeffries; Mother, Dorothy "Dotty" Mae Jeffries; Husband, Wilford Wayne Bolton; Sister, Barbara Jo Jeffries; and Brother, Dick Jeffries.
Visitation will be Monday, April 22, 2024 from 3:00pm until 7:00pm at St. Peters Chapel, Newcomer Cremations, Funerals & Receptions, 837 Mid Rivers Mall Drive, St. Peters, Missouri 63376. Additional visitation will take place the following morning, April 23rd from 9:00am until 10:00am also at Newcomer St. Peters Chapel. A funeral ceremony will begin at 10:00am with interment at Jonesburg City Cemetery immediately following.
