Betty J. Blickensderfer

Betty J. Blickensderfer, age 90, of Wildwood, Missouri passed away on Monday, September 25, 2023. She was born in Heber Springs , Arkansas on November 12, 1932 to Fred and Sylvia Bell (nee Harper).

In her early life, Betty enjoyed to go out dancing and hang out with her husband, Vince, and their friends. She had an adventurous spirit and would try new things even if they didn't work out too often. Her most notable adventurous activities would include trying to ride dirt bike, that ended up taking her up a tree and flipping, luckily she was not injured, and taking skiing lessons in her mid 50's without ever getting off the bunny hill.

Later in life, she cherished her time as a grandma and loved being able to spoil her grandkids who all called her Grandma B as did the rest of her family. She enjoyed when her children would take her out to happy hours once a week. Her family will always remember having dinner with her and watching countless episodes of Walker Texas Ranger. She will be greatly missed.

Betty is survived by her children, Dennis V. Reardon (Karen Reuschle), and Diana M. Reardon (Larry Hughes); her grandchildren, Donovan S. Bunch, Shelton T. Bunch, Sean W. Reardon, and Sarah T. Reardon; She will be dearly missed by many other family members and friends.

She was preceded in death by her mother, Sylvia McHale; her brother, Fred (Carol) Bell; her sister, Martha (Gil) Unland.

Visitation will be from 12:00 pm until 2:00 pm with a funeral service to follow at 2:00 pm all on Sunday, October 1, 2023 at St. Peters Chapel, Newcomer Cremations, Funerals & Receptions, 837 Mid Rivers Mall Drive, St. Peters, Missouri 63376. Interment will be private.
