Betty J. Hynes, age 94, of Saint Peters, Missouri passed away on Sunday, January 9, 2022. She was born in St. Louis, Missouri on December 14, 1927 to Joseph and Isabelle Petersen (nee Shea).
Betty is survived by her children Matthew (Sharon) Hynes III, Mark (Mary Grace) Hynes, and Betty Hynes; grandchildren Kelly (Mike) Steinway, Jill Klenc, Kristen (Keevin) Kujawa, Jeff (Molly) Hynes, and Lindsay (James) Vassallo; and brother Jerry (Barb) Petersen. Also survived by 11 great-grandchildren, and a host of other family members and friends.
She was preceded in death by her husband Matthew V. Hynes, Jr.; grandchildren Abbie Hynes and Dan Ossendorf; and parents Joseph and Isabelle Petersen.
Betty and Matt will be laid to rest in Calvary Cemetery, services will be private.
