Betty Lee Russell

Betty Lee Russell, age 90, of St. Charles, MO passed away on Wednesday, April 24, 2019. She was born in Kennett, MO on July 26, 1928 to Olen and Ella Brown (nee Dockins).

Betty was one of the friendliest people you could ever meet, and she enhanced the lives of all those in her presence. She will be deeply missed by so many.

Betty is survived by her children; Ron Russell (Lynda) of Wentzville, MO; Debra L. Houston of O'Fallon, MO; John R. Russell, Jr. of St. Charles, MO; six grandchildren; Scott Russell, Shelley Smith, John R Russell III, Kyle Houston, Keith Houston and Courtney Freeman; ten great grandchildren; Josh Houston, Brinna Russell, Colton Smith, Kinsley Smith, Kaelyn Russell, Grace Houston, John R. Russell IV, Ellie Freeman, Easton Freeman and Faith Houston.


She was preceded in death by her parents Olen and Ella Brown and her husband, John R. Russell; her siblings Olen Brown Jr. (Mildred), Corrine Greenhill (Pete), Yvonda Murray (Harlan), and Shirley King.

Visitation will be Tuesday, April 30, 2019 from 4:00 p.m. until 8:00 p.m. at Newcomer Cremations, Funerals & Receptions, 837 Mid Rivers Mall Drive, St. Peters, Missouri 63376.



Funeral service will be Wednesday, May 1, 2019 at 11:00 a.m. at Newcomer Cremations, Funerals & Receptions, 837 Mid Rivers Mall Drive, St. Peters, Missouri 63376. Burial will follow at Jefferson Barracks National Cemetery at 1:15 p.m.
