Betty Lou Salley Left this world suddenly on Tuesday, November 7, 2023, at the age of 91.
She was born to Ray and Mable Holland on November 15, 1931. After graduating, Betty married her high school sweetheart Robert L. Salley. They were married for 67 years and had 3 children: Bobette, Rob, and Rick.
Betty loved spending time in the kitchen, sewing, playing bridge, and spending time with her great-grandchildren. She traveled the world as a devoted Army wife and mother. Betty opened her house to many a traveler and wayward soul. Betty was a Christian and lived an exemplary life helping to bring many people to Christ.
Betty was proceeded in death by her husband Robert L. Salley, and her Parents Mable and Ray Holland.
Betty is survived by her children, Bobette Boyer (the late Edward), Robert (Sheri) Salley, and Richard (Carole) Salley; her Grand Children; Michael Berger, Sean Berger, Seth Salley, Shea Arnold, Sara Hendrickson, Brooke Green; and her great grandchildren; Samantha, Paige, Brayeen, Elliott, Oliver, Addison, and Evelyn Rose. Betty was a caring wife, mother grandmother, great grandmother, and friend. She will be missed by many.
Visitation: Friday, 10 am, November 10, 2023, until time of service at 11:00 am all at Newcomers Cremations, Funeral, and Reception West, 2211 Clarkson Road, Chesterfield, MO.
