Billy Joe Rowland

Billy Joe Rowland, age 93, of Saint Charles, Missouri passed away on Monday, January 29, 2024 in Saint Charles, Missouri. He was born in Black Rock, Arkansas on November 28, 1930 to Charles and Grace Rowland (nee Scott).
Billy was a lifelong truck driver. He married Dorothy Graham in 1949.

Billy was an ordained Baptist deacon and Sunday school teacher for many years.

Billy is survived by his Three Sons, Darrel Wayne (the late Karen) Rowland of Paragould, AR, Alan Lee (Candace) Rowland of Charlottesville, VA, Steven Donald (Patti) Rowland of Florissant, MO; Ten grandchildren, Craig, Ben, Joshua, Aaron, Jared, Geoff, Keith, Jimmi, Jessica, Angela; Thirteen Great-Grandchildren; Five Great-Great-Grandchildren; Brother, Jimmy (Karen) Rowland; and a host of other family members and friends.

He was preceded in death by his Father, Charles Rowland; Mother, Grace Cox; Wife, Dorothy Irene Rowland; Son, Larry Joe Rowland; Grandchild, Laura; Brother, Junior Rowland; and Five Sisters, Lois Baker, Claire Burress, Grace Lee Westerfield, Shirley Culver,and Norma Gilmore.

Visitation will be Saturday, February 3, 2024 from 1:00pm until 3:00pm at St. Peters Chapel, Newcomer Cremations, Funerals & Receptions, 837 Mid Rivers Mall Drive, St. Peters, Missouri 63376. A funeral ceremony will immediately follow at 3:00pm.
