Robert Dale Hudnut, age 85, of O Fallon, Missouri passed away on Monday, February 24, 2020.
He was born in Edina, Missouri on April 29, 1934 to Carson and Alice Hudnut (nee Dolan).
Bob was married to Shirley Hudnut for 60 years and they shared a lifetime of memories together.
He attended Mass daily at Assumption Catholic Church in O'Fallon, and he was a member of the Knights of Columbus, and Amvets where he served on the honor guard.
Bob was also a active member of UAW Local #2250 and the St. Charles County USBC. He also enjoyed playing golf, bowling, classic country music, record collecting, softball, high school basketball, and Cubs and Cardinals baseball.
Bob is survived by his Wife Shirley Hudnut, Son Kevin (Carey) Hudnut, Daughter Nia Gardner, Sister Jo Ann (Glen) Walton, Sister Mary Jane (Don) Casley, Brother Harry (Dottie) Hudnut, Granddaughter Threnody Hudnut, Grandson Jordan Hudnut, Grandson Trace (Jessi) Gardner, and Granddaughter Laura Gardner, and he will be dearly missed by a host of other family members and friends.
He was preceded in death by his Father, Carson Hudnut; and Mother, Alice Hudnut.

Visitation will be held from 9:30 am until 10:15 am on Tuesday, March 3, 2020 at Assumption Catholic Church in O'Fallon.
Mass will be 10:30 am Tuesday, March 3, 2020 at Assumption Catholic Church in O'Fallon.
Luncheon will be held following the Mass at Assumption Catholic Church.
Graveside service will be held at 2:30 pm at Jefferson Barracks National Cemetery on Tuesday, March 3, 2020.
A celebration of Bob's life is being planned, and will be held on May 9, 2020 at the UAW #2250 Ken Worley Hall at a time yet to be determined.
