Bobbie Killian, born on March 24, 1960, departed this life on October 11, 2024. She leaves behind a tapestry of cherished memories, woven through the love and laughter shared with her family and friends.
Bobbie was a vibrant spirit with many interests that brought joy to her life and those around her. She enjoyed pushing her luck at the casino, and she found simple pleasures in watching game shows and soap operas. Her competitive nature shone brightly in her love for billiards and bowling, where she would gladly challenge friends and family. She also enjoyed float trips. Bobbie was not just a wonderful parent and grandparent, but also a person who embodied an incredible work ethic, inspiring those who knew her to strive for excellence in all aspects of life. She was always willing to help a friend or family member in need.
She is deeply loved and remembered by her husband, John Killian Sr., and their children: Donna (Sean Welch) Killian, John (Tiana Doney) Killian Jr., and Michael Killian. Bobbie’s legacy continues with her cherished grandchild, Lauren Killian, who was a bright light in her life. Her sisters, Robin (Ken) Myers, Barbara Meyer, and Karen (Eric) Wright. Though she is missed dearly, her laughter and spirit will remain alive in the hearts of her family.
Bobbie was preceded in death by her father, Robert Meyer, and her mother, Diane Saucier, as well as her sister, Candace Meyer and other loving family members. They welcomed her with open arms and love, creating a serene space for her eternal rest.
Friends and family are invited to celebrate Bobbie’s life with a visitation on October 17, 2024, from 4:00 PM to 8:00 PM, followed by a funeral service on October 18, 2024, at 9:30 AM, both held at Newcomer Funeral Home in St. Peters, Missouri. Burial will follow the funeral service, taking place at St. Anthony's Cemetery in Sullivan, Mo.
