Bobby Jay Meyers

Bobby Jay Meyers, a beloved mechanic and an aficionado of speed and freedom, left this world on February 14, 2025, in O'Fallon, Missouri. Born on November 13, 1957, in Arkansas, Bobby grew into a man whose passions were evident in every rev of his Harley and the roar of the racetrack, where he found joy and exhilaration.

A devoted husband to Melinda Meyers, Bobby cherished their life together, crafting memories that would forever echo within the hearts of those who knew them. His legacy continues through his sons, Bobby Jay (Amanda) Meyers II and James Meyers, who inherited not only his name but also a spark of his adventurous spirit. The laughter and joy of his grandchildren, Bobby Jay Meyers III and Gavin Wayne Meyers, were sources of immense pride for him, as he embraced each moment spent with them, illuminating their lives with stories of races won and roads traveled.

Bobby's family ties extended to his sister, Marka (James) Dunkerson, who stood by his side through life's tumultuous turns and joyous occasions. Their bond was a testament to their shared memories and the strength of familial love.

Bobby now joins his dear parents, Robert and Pat Meyers, as well as his son William Joseph Meyers in eternal rest. Their absence is felt deeply, yet the warmth of their shared moments will remain in the hearts of those who survive him.

A visitation to celebrate Bobby's life will be held on February 21, 2025, from 3:00 PM to 6:00 PM at Newcomer Funeral Home in St. Peters, Missouri. This will be followed by a funeral service, extending from 6:00 PM to 6:30 PM, allowing family and friends to gather in remembrance of a man who lived life to the fullest.

As we honor Bobby Jay Meyers, we remember a soul who danced along the edge of adventure, adored his family, and embraced the thrill of life with unwavering passion.
