Brian David Kretchmar

Brian David Kretchmar, age 70, of Saint Peters, Missouri passed away on Tuesday, March 26, 2024. He was born in Hammond, Indiana on April 2, 1953 to William and Ruth Kretchmar (nee Barton).

Brian had passion for Airplanes and Piloting. He was an Aeronautical Engineer for McDonnell Douglas and Boeing, and he took so much pride in his craft that he also built hundreds of RC airplanes in his free time; he would even fly his planes he built with his local RC club. He enjoyed spending time fishing with his father and taking the family out on the boat at the lake. He loved sports and loved going to and watching hockey games. He loved the Cardinals, and most recently was very excited about basketball, which came from his early memories of going to games with his dad. Brian loved his wife of 41 years, family, and was proud of his two daughters they raised together.

Brian is survived by his wife, Marcia Kretchmar (nee Dawson); two daughters, Jenny (Matthew) Mount and Katy Kretchmar; sister, Nancy (Denny) Krintz; two brother-in-laws, Rick (Reneé) Dawson and David (Patti) Dawson; and a host of other family members and friends.

He was preceded in death by his parents, William and Ruth Kretchmar; and brother, Scott Kretchmar.

A Memorial Service will be 6:00 pm Friday, April 5, 2024 at St. Peters Chapel, Newcomer Cremations, Funerals & Receptions, 837 Mid Rivers Mall Drive, St. Peters, Missouri 63376.
