Brian L. Martin, 51, of Edmundson, St. Louis County, MO, passed away December 30, 2020.

He was born to Russell and Shirley Martin on September 20, 1969, in Branson, MO. Brian married Sherri Young in 1990 and to this union was born one daughter, Ashley Brianna Martin. He earned a bachelors degree from Columbia College and was an accounting manager with Cushman & Wakefield, where he had been employed since 2003.

Brian is survived by his wife, Sherri; one daughter, Ashley, and her husband, Jeff Schlueter, currently serving in the U.S. Army in Sicily; his parents, Russ and Shirley Martin of St. Charles, MO; two brothers and their wives, Trevor (Laura) Martin of Fort Worth, TX, and Jordan (Stacy) Martin of Bentonville, AR. He is also survived by one nephew, Jared Martin, and three nieces, Lauren Martin, Kaylee Martin, and Reagyn Martin; and his maternal grandmother, Elizabeth Potts of Van Buren, MO.

Brian was an avid reader and enjoyed playing video games. He had a wide appreciation of music genres ranging from classical to heavy metal. He was especially devoted to his daughter, Ashley, and called her his buddy.

A visitation for Brian will be conducted on Saturday, January 9, 2021, from 10:00 am to 12:00 pm at Newcomer Cremations, Funerals & Receptions, 837 Mid Rivers Mall Drive, St. Peters, MO, 63376. Brian will be cremated at a later date.

Out of respect and safety of our families and community, all guests are required to wear face coverings at all times while visiting our funeral home.
