Bryan William Svoboda, age 59, of Saint Charles, Missouri passed away on Monday, January 22, 2024 in Saint Charles, Missouri. He was born in St. Louis, Missouri on May 13, 1964 to Raymond and Anna Svoboda (nee Reddan).
Bryan is survived by his two daughters, Lauren (Brian) Strode of Saint Charles, MO, Emily (Adam) Farmer of Saint Peters, MO; and son, Kyle Svoboda (Kate Zucker) of Prairie Village, KS; his grandchildren, Charlotte and Ollie Strode, and Auggie Farmer, with one more on the way; his siblings, Judy (Mike) Aubuchon, Keith (Jerri) Svoboda, Jim Svoboda, Mary Beth (Steve) Petti, Rene (Tony) Miller, Matt (Dana) Svoboda, John (Beth) Svoboda, Amy (Mike) Russo, and Jennifer (Greg) Bangert; dear son of Anna Svoboda; dear uncle, cousin, and friend to so many.
He was preceded in death by his father, Raymond Svoboda and his sister, Tricia Woods.
Bryan was known for his radiant smile and unconditional kindness. He was willing to help anyone in need and he always had a hug to give. Bryan gave many years of hard work to McDonnell-Douglas, Insight Technology Group, and Facilitec, Inc. He was a CYC soccer coach for many years, and his volunteer efforts extended into the community by serving in the St. Elizabeth Ann Seton parish in a variety of roles. In recent years, he made his mark through the City of St. Charles School District as a bus driver who was well-loved by the students.
Above all, Bryan was a man that loved his family more than anything in the world. He never knew a stranger, and his absence has greatly impacted all who loved him.
Visitation will be Saturday, January 27, 2024 from 4:00pm until 8:00pm at St. Peters Chapel, Newcomer Cremations, Funerals & Receptions, 837 Mid Rivers Mall Drive, St. Peters, Missouri 63376. Additional visitation will take place the following day, Sunday, January 28, 2024 from 2:00pm until 3:00pm with a memorial service beginning at 3:00pm.
