Carole Dru Brandt (Isele) age 84, passed away on July 24, 2024, at Mason Point retirement community in Chesterfield, Missouri. Carole was born on February 22, 1940 in St. Louis, Missouri to Druzella and Fred Isele. She graduated from Normandy High School (Class of 1958) and William Woods Academy (Class of 1960).

Carole is survived by her children, Jeff (Patty) Brandt, Dawn (Jim) Hall and Rob (Susie) Brandt, her ten beloved grandchildren Katie, Brittany, Andrew, Peter and Bertie Brandt, Madison, McKenzie and Nathan Hall, Colby and Payton Brandt and two great-grand children, Christopher and Forrest Brandt. She is also survived by her sister, Gayle Winchell (Ron). Carole was preceded in death by her husband, Glenn Brandt and her parents Druzella and Fred Isele.

Carole spent most of her career working at General Motors where she was an integral part of the payroll and benefits department. She had the privilege of being one of the first employees at the new General Motors Wentzville plant, which on its opening was state of the art in the automotive industry. Carole entered the corporate workforce when few women were a part of finance organizations and quickly rose to a supervisory role which she held throughout her career. Carole retired from General Motors in 1992 and spent much of her retirement life with her children and grandchildren, hosting numerous family events such as Christmas in July and Easter Egg Hunts. Carole had a charitable heart regularly supporting her favorite charities and seldom missed the opportunity to contribute during an infomercial such as Smile Train or adopting vulnerable children around the world. Carole possessed a true passion for the arts and loved her season tickets to the Muny as well as supporting the Muny Partners, the St. Louis Zoo and the Science Center.

Carole was an active member of the Pathfinder Church (St. John Lutheran) in Ellisville, Missouri where she was a wedding coordinator and a member of the choir. Carole held a deep Christian faith and possessed an angelic voice. Carole spent many wonderful days with her entire family at Peaceful Valley Lake in Owensville, Missouri both camping and then later in the home that she built with her husband Glenn. Carole was a supportive mother and grandmother and had a deep love for her family, especially her grandkids, which she admired greatly.

A brief visitation will be held on Saturday, August 3, 2024 at the Pathfinder Church located at 15800 Manchester Road, Ellisville Mo 63011 at 9:30 AM followed by a service at 10:30 AM, with burial to follow immediately at Bellerive Cemetery.
