Carole A. Niemann, a beloved counselor and shining light in her community, passed away on February 19, 2025, at the age of 70. Born on November 15, 1954, in Columbus, Ohio, Carole dedicated her life to the service of others, leaving an indelible mark on the lives she touched.
For 25 years, Carole worked tirelessly as a counselor, specializing in Drug and Alcohol Recovery. Her big-hearted nature and unconditional love made her a beacon of hope for countless individuals seeking help. Her compassion and profound understanding of human struggles led her to make meaningful change in the lives of many, helping them find their path to recovery and a brighter future. In recognition of her impactful work, she was honored with the Claire McCaskill Award in 2024, a testament to her unwavering dedication and commitment to her vocation.
Carole's generosity and kindness extended beyond her professional life; she was a nurturing mother and grandmother, cherished by her family. She is survived by her son, Chris (Ashley) Niemann, who held a special place in her heart. Additionally, her legacy continues through her eleven grandchildren: Skylar Buck, Joseph Niemann, David Niemann, Jacob Niemann, Gabriel Niemann, Mckenzee Potter, Blake O'Rando, Dominic Niemann, Aleczander Niemann, Nikolai Niemann, and Creed Niemann. She was also the proud grandmother of two great-grandchildren, Xanthe and Kai, who brought her immense joy.
Carole shared a deep bond with her five brothers – Jim, Paul, John, Andy, and Mark – and her sister, Marty. Together, they formed a close-knit family that loved and supported one another through life's challenges. She was preceded in death by her mother, Mary Niemann, who surely welcomed her with open arms.
A visitation will be held on March 9, 2025, from 1:00 PM to 3:00 PM, followed by a memorial service at 3:00 PM at Newcomer Funeral Home in St. Peters, Missouri. Carole's spirit will forever be remembered by her family, friends, and those she so lovingly helped throughout her life. Her legacy of love, compassion, and strength lives on in the hearts of everyone who had the privilege to know her.
