Carolyn Marie Fuller, peacefully departed this world on April 7, 2025, surrounded by her loving children. Born on October 10, 1936, in Kansas City, Missouri, Carolyn lived a life filled with vibrant experiences and cherished connections. Her legacy will forever shine through the hearts of those who knew and loved her.
For over 20 years, Carolyn dedicated herself to her career as an insurance agent at State Farm, where she was not just professional but rather a friend and confidant to her clients. Her optimistic outlook and fun-loving spirit made her a cherished figure in the community. She embodied the essence of hard work and independence while skillfully balancing her professional life with her roles as a mother and grandmother.
A social butterfly, Carolyn enjoyed countless hobbies that reflected her lively personality. Whether she was hitting the golf course, engaging in spirited games of cards, or letting her fingers dance across the piano keys, she brought joy to every moment. Her passion for knitting and her unwavering commitment to volunteering at her church showcased her loving nature and desire to give back. Carolyn also loved to travel and enjoyed her many adventures.
Carolyn's proudest accomplishments revolved around her family, being a devoted mother to four children: Steven Flowers, Jerry (Phyllis) Flowers, Lynn (Doug) Huxley, and Jeff Flowers. The love she poured into her family was evident as she embraced the roles of mother and grandmother with grace and affection. Her grandchildren, Lauren (Alex) Rinehart, Ben Huxley, Hannah Flowers, Rachael Huxley, and Tara Huxley brought her immeasurable joy, and she treasured every moment spent with them.
Though Carolyn is survived by three of her beloved children and grandchildren, she is preceded in death by her husband, Earl Fuller; her parents, Frank and Marie Rutherford; her cherished son, Jeff Flowers; and her siblings, Frank Rutherford, Joe Rutherford, and Jack Rutherford. Their memory lives on in the stories Carolyn shared and the love she felt for them.
As we reflect on the beautiful life Carolyn Marie Fuller led, we remember her radiant spirit, her unwavering optimism, and her ability to find the bright side in every situation. Though she has left our world, her light will continue to guide us and live on in our hearts forever.
