Carolyn Sue Taul, a cherished mother, grammy, and friend, passed away on December 19, 2024, in St. Louis, Missouri. Born on January 3, 1945, in Dexter, Missouri, Carolyn lived a life blessed with love, laughter, and an enduring passion for bringing joy to others.
From 1982 until her retirement, she dedicated herself to her career as an insurance agent, earning respect and admiration from her clients and colleagues alike. Yet, it was not just her professional life that defined her; it was her vibrant personality and ability to connect with those around her. Carolyn was truly a spark in every room she entered—caring, positive, and full of life. She had a compassionate spirit, never shying away from offering kindness to anyone she met, and she never encountered a stranger.
Carolyn filled her home with warmth and love, particularly through her culinary delights. She cherished cooking family meals, creating memories around the dinner table. Her love for family extended beyond the kitchen; she was a steadfast supporter of her grandchildren, attending every sporting event and cheering them on as their biggest fan. The joy she derived from these special moments will forever be etched in the hearts of her children—Tereasa (Steve) Edwards, Deanian (Tim) Gossett, and Mike (Marisa) Taul—and her five beloved grandchildren, Morgan Edwards, Caleb Gossett, Joseph Taul, Genevieve Crawford, and Macy Gossett.
Carolyn had many interests that brought her happiness. Whether it was tending to her garden, baking delicious treats, or visiting with her neighbors, her zest for life was evident in all that she did. Her laughter and sparkle were infectious, creating an inviting atmosphere that drew people in.
She is now joined in peace with her first husband, Jerry Taul; her second husband, Robert "Boots" Remmert; and her beloved parents, Allean Triplett and Jasper Triplett. They welcomed her with open arms, and though they are separated by this earthly realm, their bonds of love remain strong.
Friends and family are invited to celebrate Carolyn’s remarkable life during visitation on December 23, 2024, from 2:00 PM to 4:00 PM, followed by a funeral service at 4:00 PM, held at Newcomer Funeral Home in St. Peters, Missouri.
As we remember Carolyn, let us cherish the lessons she taught us: the importance of kindness, the joy of family gatherings, and the simple yet profound beauty of life shared with loved ones. Her light will continue to shine brightly in our hearts, guiding us with the love she imparted so generously throughout her life.
