Carroll Wayne Parker, 76, of Saint Charles, peacefully passed away at home on Oct 29, 2021 after a difficult battle with Parkinson Disease. Carroll's passing was as he wished, in the comfort of his home, surrounded by his daughters, his granddaughters as well as Varlene, all by his side.
Carroll was born on Dec 20, 1944 to Floyd and Rita Parker in the quaint city of Parma, Missouri. Carroll graduated from Parma High in 1962 with the FHA Heartthrob and Cotton Ball King distinctions.
After graduation, he moved to Saint Louis and worked in the food industry for over 40 years. Carroll retired from Custom Industries in 2002, however in 1991 he also purchased the Penalty Box, a local bar, and sold it in 2004. While retired, as well as all of his life, Carroll had time to pursue his love of hunting, fishing, Busch beer and socializing with close friends.
In 1966, he met Varlene while working at Tasty Bakery. Carroll and Varlene went on to have two kids, Sheena and Sherry. Although they divorced in 1980, Varlene remained by his side during his passing.
Carroll was proceeded in death by his father Floyd, mother Rita, sister Reba Rhea, brother Pop and brother Charles. He is survived by his sister Roberta Perkey, daughter Sheena Yocum, daughter Sherry Parker, granddaughter Kimmie Duncan, and granddaughter Caley Schweitzer.
