Casey Joan Dickhens of Saint Peters, Missouri passed away on Sunday, March 26,2023 in Saint Peters at age 37. She was born in Washington, Missouri on December 11, 1985 to Donna Nelson (nee Schwent) and Raymond McIntyre Jr. Casey was the beloved wife of Patrick Dickhens and loving mother of Michael Dickhens. Casey is also survived by her dad Kim Nelson; three sisters, Diane Torneire (nee Nelson), Carrie Helmolt (nee McIntrye), Bri Chavez (nee McIntyre); three brothers, Daniel Nelson, Benjamin Nelson, Raymond McIntyre III and a host of other family members and friends.
Casey graduated from Francis Howell Central HS in 2004 and went on to receive a certification in Cosmetology from the State of Missouri. She served almost all of her career as a Cosmetology Instructor at Current Trends Hair Academy, O'Fallon, Missouri. Casey worked hard at everything she did, and cared dearly for her family. She was an avid camper, gardener, event planner, and artisan who loved to create and design gifts in her workshop for family, friends, and others. Casey especially loved teaching cosmetology to her students, and kept a wall of pictures at home with all of their faces. She also had a special place in her heart for all of the family dogs, including her current dogs, Hazel, Henry, and Hershey.
Visitation will be Friday, April 14, 2023 from 5:00pm until 9:00pm at St. Peters Chapel, Newcomer Cremations, Funerals & Receptions, 837 Mid Rivers Mall Drive, St. Peters, Missouri 63376. A memorial service will be held the following morning, Saturday, April 15 at 11:00am, also at Newcomer St. Peters Chapel.
