Chad Michael Gray
July 11, 1985 — October 12, 2017
Chad Michael Gray AKA "Chadillac". Daddy, Grandson, Son, Nephew, Baby Brother, Uncle, Cousin, Friend. Silly, fun, easy-going, adventurous, lover of life, imaginative, free-spirited, hard as nails, tenderhearted, rebel, fearless, Superhero Daddy. He lived life to the fullest up to the very end. He was loved immediately by everyone that met him.
Chad loved family and friends, music (especially live music), hanging out at the river, camping, craft beer, riding his motorcycle – Shalonda the Honda, having spiritual conversations with people at the bar and most of all; Chad was an amazing father who loved his two children with his entire heart. The knucklehead finally got his act together (without fully growing up because he'd always be that kid at heart) by completing his HVAC degree from Ranken Technical College at the top of his class a few years ago. He felt respected and appreciated at American Services where he worked on commercial heating and cooling systems. We are so proud that he is leaving us with such a sweet legacy. He didn't have to "grow up" to be a man.
Chad is preceded in death by his grandparents, Wayne and Wanda Gray, Edward List and nephew Grayden Steele Hickenbottom.
Survived by: his two children; Noah and Ava Gray; parents Dennis and Karen Gray; grandmother Mary Anne List; siblings Valerie (Wayne) Trent, Tom (Hope) Gray, Steve Gray, Kari (Aaron) McDonnell and Jamie (Brent) Hickenbottom and a host of loving family members and dear friends.
Visitation will be held on Monday, October 16, 2017 from 4:00-8:00 pm at Newcomer Cremations, Funerals and Receptions 837 Mid Rivers Mall Drive St. Peters, MO 63376. Funeral service will be on Tuesday, October 17, 2017 at First Baptist Church Harvester 4075 Old Hwy 94 South St. Charles, MO 63304 at 10:00 am with a hour visitation prior to the service. Interment will take place following the service at Ste Philippine Cimetiere 4057 Towers Rd. St. Charles, MO 63304.
