Charlene E. Rickman, age 78, of O'Fallon , Missouri passed away on Saturday, March 19, 2022 in O'Fallon, Missouri. She was born in St. Louis, Missouri on November 7, 1943 to Charles and Evelyn Privett (nee Tallis).
Charlene was married to Roger Rickman on June 11, 1960 and was a devoted wife, loving mother, homemaker, devout Christian, and very dear friend to many. She collected recipes, stones, and shells. Charlene loved to go camping and fishing. She enjoyed playing cards, especially beating people at them, and going to Bingo. Charlene liked to read and study the Bible, going to Bible study groups regularly. She enjoyed crocheting and knitting, and going dancing with her friends.
Charlene is survived by her son, Roger L. Rickman, Jr.; granddaughter, Kindra (James) Stuart; great-granddaughter, Hadley Stuart; great-grandson, Brett Stuart; grandson, Coleton Rickman; son, Anthony E. (Significant Other, Karen Vossenkemper) Rickman; daughter, Julie M. Rickman; grandson, Bradley Rickman; grandson, Joshua Rickman; daughter, Dana R. Arnold; grandson, Michael R. Evans; grandson, Isaiah Evans; granddaughter, Elizabeth Evans; grandson, Timothy Evans; granddaughter, Nicole Evans; granddaughter, Juliana Evans; grandson, William Evans; granddaughter, Grace Evans; great-granddaughter, Shy'na Brooks; granddaughter, Niyah Boyland; sister, Mary Ann Gudger (Cecil) and Family; sister, Linda Napier (Dannie) and Family; sister, Janice Besancenez and Family; brother, Charles Privett, Jr. (Tinia) and Family; and Fur Baby, Miss Kitty and a host of other family members and friends.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Roger L. Rickman, Sr.; parents, Charles L. and Evelyn Privett; and grandson, Devin Rickman.
A memorial service will be held at Newcomer Cremations, Funerals & Receptions 2211 Clarkson Road, Chesterfield, Missouri 63017 on Saturday, April 16, 2022 at 5:30pm with the visitation immediately following at the funeral home.
