Charles Carter Cayce III

April 30, 1953 — September 23, 2024

Baptized into the hope of Christ’s Resurrection, Charles Carter Cayce, III (Chuck) age 71, of O’Fallon, Missouri, passed away on Monday, September 23, 2024. He was born in St. Louis, Missouri, April 30, 1953, to the late Charles & Jeanette Cayce (nee:Ehrhart). 

 Chuck attended St. Sebastian Grade School and Riverview Gardens Senior High School where he excelled in sports playing baseball and football. 

 Chuck’s interests then turned to Music and Theatre. He relocated to Los Angeles in 1975 where he performed in several Musicals and Plays. He traveled in Europe, and visited Canada. He lived in Arizona, Nevada, Virginia, and Florida. He enjoyed his time there, but missed his family and returned to St. Louis in 1995. 

 Chuck worked in Security for many years at Securitas-Pinkerton and retired in 2015. 

Chuck was a devoted fan of the St. Louis Baseball and Football  Cardinals and later the Los Angeles Rams. He enjoyed watching games with family and friends. 

 Chuck found strength and solace in his Catholic faith by praying the Rosary daily. 

He was a kind-hearted man who always had a smile on his face. He loved to laugh, joke, and reminisce about family celebrations and holidays with his many photographs. He will be greatly missed by family and friends. 

 Chuck is survived by his 2 sisters: Christine Shields (Robert) and Carol Fitzgerald; and 5 brothers: David (Lynn), John (Beth), Daniel (Ginger), Richard (Maureen) and Michael (Carol). Aunts: Genevieve “Babe” O'Kelley, Frances Capra. Chuck was a fun-loving Uncle to many Nieces and Nephews. 

 Chuck was preceded in death by his Brother, Steve Cayce, and Niece, Savannah Cayce. 

 Private Family Visitation was held at Newcomer’s Funeral Home in St. Peters, on Monday, September 30. 

 Mass of Christian Burial at Immaculate Conception Church Dardenne Prairie 

Wednesday, October 23, 10:00 am. 

Visitation prior to the Mass from 9:00 am – 10:00 am. 

Luncheon in the Parish Hall immediately following Mass 

Burial at St Ferdinand Cemetery, Florissant Mo. 2:00 p.m.
