Charles Flemming, age 70, of Warrenton, Missouri passed away on Friday, September 4, 2020. He was born in Saint Louis, Missouri on October 4, 1949 to Charles and Marie Flemming (nee Kostelnik).
Charlie was married to his wife, Bonnie for 51 years. He loved to spend time with his wife, children and grandchildren. Charlie was an avid outdoorsman who loved to fish and hunt. Earlier in life, he liked to race cars and help his friends with boat races. Charlie took up Ham radio operation as a hobby, and that gave him a passion for Storm Chasing. For many years, he was also a diver for the Saint Charles County Search and Rescue Team. He will be missed by all who knew him.
Charlie is survived by his wife, Bonnie Flemming; his children, Charles R. (Tracy) Flemming, and Cindy L. (Kenneth) Chadd; his grandchildren, Austin J. Flemming, Cory D. Flemming, and Casey M. Flemming; and his sisters, Jeanette Schaefer, Lorraine (Jack) Hollenberg. He will be dearly missed by many other family members and friends.
He was preceded in death by his father, Charles H. Flemming; his mother, Marie A. Flemming; his grandson, James G. Murphy Jr.; and his brother-in-law, Ralph Schaefer.
Visitation will be from 4:00 pm until 8:00 pm on Sunday, September 13, 2020 at Newcomer Cremations, Funerals & Receptions, 837 Mid Rivers Mall Drive, St. Peters, Missouri 63376. A funeral service will take place at 10:00 am on Tuesday, September 15, 2020 at Newcomer in Saint Peters. Interment will follow at Roseberry Cemetery in Edgar Springs, Missouri.
