Charles Edward Isom Sr., a steadfast beacon of diligence and integrity, entered this world on December 25, 1937, in North Little Rock, Arkansas. He departed this life on November 16, 2024, surrounded by the warmth of his family in his beloved home at Hawk Point, Missouri.
A man of profound character and impressive accomplishments, Charles dedicated 34 years of his professional life as an accountant with Boeing. His unwavering commitment to excellence and meticulous attention to detail earned him the respect and admiration of colleagues and clients alike. Early in his journey, he distinguished himself academically, graduating from Little Rock Catholic High School before attending the University of Arkansas in Fayetteville, Arkansas, where his thirst for knowledge and personal growth blossomed.
An honorable veteran, Charles served his country with distinction in the United States Army before entering the United States Marine Corps. His military service exemplified his unwavering dedication to the principles of duty and camaraderie, values he carried with him throughout his life.
Charles was predeceased by his beloved wife, Helen M. Isom, and his son, Matthew Isom. Their absence left a profound impact on his life, yet he remained a source of strength and love for his family.
He is survived by his son, Charles "Chuck" Edward Isom, Jr., along with his cherished grandchildren: Charles W. (Ashley) Isom, Daniel T. (Ashley) Isom, Scott M. Becker, and Brandon L. Isom. The light of Charles’ legacy is further brightened by his great-grandchildren, including Elijah T. Isom, Kylie R. Squires, Jackson C. Squires, Ryder S. Squires, and Brody L. Squires. Each of them carries forth the values and love instilled by their grandfather, enriching the tapestry of family that he devoted himself to nurturing.
Charles Edward Isom Sr. leaves behind a legacy of strength, resilience, and unyielding love. His life, marked by dedication to family, duty, and profession, will forever resonate in the hearts of those he touched. May his memory continue to inspire all who knew him.
