Charles Cleatus Jackson

Charles Cleatus Jackson, 82, of Florissant, MO, passed away on October 11th after a brave battle with liver cancer.

On August 7, 1939, Charles Jackson was born in Hancock County, Kentucky to Coy and Addie Jackson. He attended Hancock County High School, where he graduated in 1957. He later served in the Army. In 1965, he married Shirley Jackson (Stevens). He worked for Hermann Oak Leather as a supervisor. Charles was a quiet man who was also a loving and caring husband, father, and grandfather. He enjoyed watching the Kentucky Wildcats play basketball and the St. Louis Cardinals play baseball.

Charles is preceded in death by his son Randy Jackson, as well as his sisters Vivian, Wanda, and Delores.

Charles is survived by his wife Shirley, son Michael, brothers Coy and Billy Jackson, and five grandchildren, Brandon, Brittany, Bryan, Bradley, and Stephanie, as well as their mother, Karen Jackson.
