Charles D. Mosley

Charles David Mosley, age 92, of O Fallon, Missouri passed away on Friday, September 15, 2023 in O Fallon, Missouri. He was born in Morehouse, Missouri on August 6, 1931 to Samuel and Mattie Mosley (nee Killian).
He was married to Sandra Mosley for 67 years.

Charles is a proud U.S. Marine. In the late 1940s, Charles signed a professional baseball contract with the Brooklyn Dodgers. Due to injury, Charles was unable to play; he then enlisted in the Marine Corps. He met the love of his life, Sandra Koenneker, in 1955. They married that same year.

Charles is survived by his Wife, Sandra Mosley; Two Sons, David Mosley, Mark (Kimberly) Mosley; Granddaughter, Amber (Tyler) Gamm; Grandson, Matthew Mosley; Great-Granddaughter, Aria Gamm; Great-Grandson, Oliver Gamm; and a host of other family members and friends.

He was preceded in death by his Father, Samuel Mosley; Mother, Mattie Mosley; and Grandson, Tyler Mosley.

Memorial Service will be 6:00 pm Friday, September 22, 2023 at St. Peters Chapel, Newcomer Cremations, Funerals & Receptions, 837 Mid Rivers Mall Drive, St. Peters, Missouri 63376 with officiating. Visitation will be from 5:00 pm until 6:00 pm at St. Peters Chapel.
