Charles W. Wynn, age 66, of Defiance, Missouri passed away on Sunday, August 12, 2018 under hospice care in St. Peters, Missouri. He was born in Wilmington, Delaware on July 21, 1952 to the late Alvin and Lena Wynn (nee Smith).
Chuck is survived by his loving wife of 38 years: Margaret (Hartman) Wynn, Daughter: Shelly (Brad) Temm, Son: Charlie (Lauren) Wynn, Grandchildren: Carter, Mya and Lydia Temm, Brother: Alvin (Mary) Wynn and sister: Jean (Larry) Firoved; brother-in-law of: Sr. Mary Ann Hartman, DC, Tom (Maureen) Hartman, Barbara (Wayne) Mathewson, Sharon (Steve) Raph and Deborah Madura; Beloved uncle, cousin and friend to many; Special friends: Debbie Theiss, Rick Kessler and "adopted" grand-daughter, Stephanie.
He was proceeded in death by his parents and a sister, Arlene (Harold) Fox.
Chuck was a graduate of Hazelwood High School. He was self-employed as a contractor/carpenter where he enjoyed remodeling kitchens and bathrooms. He had a natural talent to play guitar and a passion for antique cars. His unique sense of humor was a gift to all he encountered. He loved spending time with his grandchildren and his faithful companion, Buttercup.
Chuck requested that donations be sent to Grace River Church , PO Box 1031, O'Fallon, Missouri 63366 for teaching the gospel.
A memorial service will be held at 7:30 PM , August 17, 2018 , at Newcomer Cremations Funerals & Receptions. 837 Mid Rivers Mall Drive, St. Peters, Missouri 63376 . Visitation will be prior to the service from 5:30 PM to 7:30 PM. Burial will be private.
