Charlotte Beth Carr

June 1, 1957 — October 27, 2024

St. Peters, Missouri

Charlotte Beth Carr, born on June 1, 1957, in Florissant, Missouri, passed away suddenly at her home in St. Peters, Missouri, on October 27, 2024. She was surrounded by love, with her beloved husband, Rick Carr, by her side during her final moments.

Charlotte, known affectionately as Chaz, a woman whose life was a beautiful testament to love, kindness, and unwavering support for those around her. She was more concerned about the well-being of others than her own, showcasing remarkable strength and independence throughout her life. Charlotte's nurturing spirit was evident in her passion for cooking, which she regarded as one of her love languages. She delighted in preparing delicious meals for her family, especially during holidays when her kitchen was filled with warmth, laughter, and the enticing aroma of her culinary creations.

Her love for her family knew no bounds. Charlotte was immensely proud of her children—Roy (Patty) Muenks, Aaron (Andrea) Carr, and Corinne (Mark) Hayes. She poured her heart into nurturing them and creating a home filled with love and laughter. Her pride only grew as she embraced her role as a grandmother to Lydia Carr, Logan Hayes, Joe Puszkar, and David Hayes, and as a great-grandmother to Juniper Puszkar. Each precious memory shared with her family was a treasure to her, and she often found joy in canning the fruits and vegetables she grew in her beloved garden to share with them. Her passion for gardening not only allowed her to cultivate beautiful flowers and delicious produce but also served as a way for her to extend her caring nature to family and friends.

Charlotte’s nurturing character extended beyond her family. Friends and loved ones alike experienced her selflessness and genuine compassion. She was always there to lend a helping hand, often giving of herself to lift up others. Her vibrant spirit shone through in everything she did, from her hobbies—like swimming, where she proudly worked as a lifeguard in her teenage years—to her commitment to growing a flourishing garden that became a source of inspiration and sustenance for her family.

Charlotte was preceded in death by her father, Arthur Cripps, Sr., and leaves behind her beloved mother, Doris Cripps; her brother, Arthur (Cindi) Cripps, Jr.; her sister, Paula (Jerry) Bailey; and a legacy of love that will forever resonate in the hearts of those she cherished.

In remembering Charlotte Beth Carr, we honor a woman who touched countless lives with her kindness, warmth, and generosity. She will be deeply missed and fondly remembered by her family, friends, and all who were fortunate enough to know her.
