Charlotte J. Smith, age 88, of Hazelwood, Missouri passed away on Friday, February 25, 2022 in Saint Peters, Missouri. She was born in St. Louis, Missouri on June 4, 1933 to Raymond and Irene Anders (nee Gray ). Charlotte married Robert Roy Smith on October 10, 1954 and they spent 67 happy years together.
Charlotte is survived by her husband, Robert "Big Bob" Smith; son, Steven Smith and daughter-in-law, Diane Smith; sisters, Betty Navy and Coleen Galati; grandsons, Alex (Sara) Smith and Scott (Jessica) Smith; and great-grandchildren, Nolan, Riley, Liam, and Loretta Jane.
She was preceded in death by her parents, Raymond and Irene Anders.
Visitation will be at Newcomer Cremations, Funerals & Receptions, 837 Mid Rivers Mall Drive, St. Peters, Missouri 63376 on Wednesday, March 2, 2022 from 10:30am until 12:30pm, after which will be a procession to Jefferson Barracks National Cemetery at 2900 Sheridan Road, St. Louis, Missouri 63125 for a 1:45pm committal service.
