Cheryl L. Harvey, age 71, of St. Peters, Missouri (formerly of St. George and Junction City, Kansas) passed away peacefully during the early morning hours of Friday, December 21, 2018 at Evelyn's House (BJC Hospice) in Creve Coeur, Missouri. She was born January 9, 1947, in Clarinda, Iowa, to Roger and Carol Johnson.
Cheryl is survived by her daughter, Linda Yates and her husband Joshua of St. Charles, Missouri, grandson Aiden Yates of St. Charles Missouri, brother, John Rogers and his wife Barbara of Omaha, Nebraska, and a host of other beloved family members and friends.
She was preceded in death by her parents, Roger K. and Lucille Johnson, and Carol (Anderson) and Elmer 'Rod' Rogers, and twin sons, Roger K. and Milton D. Harvey.
Cheryl spent many years as a registered nurse as part of the Civil Service, providing care and healing at Irwin Army Medical Center, Ft. Riley, Kansas, near Junction City, Kansas. Following her retirement in 2007, Cheryl settled in St. George, Kansas.
Per Cheryl's wishes, she was cremated, and there will not be a service. In lieu of flowers, the family asks you to consider making a donation in her memory to Girl Scouts of Southern Illinois, or to Evelyn's House Hospice.
