Christine Delynn Fletcher

Christine D. Fletcher, age 54, of O'Fallon, Missouri passed away on Wednesday, August 11, 2021.
Christine was born on Nov 6, 1966 in Landstuhl, Germany to Walter New III and Sara Jean Schaffer. She spent most of her childhood and teens in various parts of the world while her father was in the Air Force and working for Boeing.
Christine married Jef Fletcher June 1, 2016. Christine and Jef met while in college and dated but life's path took them in different directions. They both married and started families. Christine lived in California and Jef in St. Charles. Their paths crossed on Facebook late 2011. They communicated for a few months learning they both were divorced and still in love with each other. Christine drove 1804 miles from California straight back into Jefs life in April 2012. Jef always said she was the one that got away and he got her back.
Christine pride and joy daughter, Megan, followed her mother by moving to O'Fallon in 2017
Christine knew no stranger. She would talk to anyone. You never had to wonder what she was thinking because she always spoke her mind. She worked tirelessly, loved to cook, spend time with her dogs, Sophie and Ozzie, plan updates to the house and always looked forward to being with family
Christine is survived by her Husband, Jef Fletcher; her daughter, Megan E. Dickson; Stepsons, Zachary and Bryce Fletcher; Her Father, Walter New; In-laws, Tom and Jackie Fletcher; Grandmother, Dorothy Hinson; Sister in Law, Laurie (Dave) Johnson. Many Aunts, Uncles, cousins, nieces and nephews. She will be dearly missed by many other family members and friends.
Christine was preceded in death by her Mother, Sara Jean Schaffer
