Christopher Robin Eggleston, age 42, of Lake Saint Louis, Missouri passed away on Saturday, June 11, 2022 in Saint Louis, Missouri. He was born in Florissant, Missouri on May 31, 1980 to Michael and Wendy Eggleston (nee Robinson).
Christopher was a charismatic man with eyes that twinkled when he laughed. The way he cared for his family and friends was unmatched, which he often showed by being the first to help out. He was a true man's man with the beard to match. In his childhood, he wrestled, played soccer, and taught his sisters how to load Pez dispensers properly. As an adult, he fell in love with hunting, making moonshine, and golf. Even though he was often the life of the party, he was a sweet and gentle soul on the inside. He was never afraid of anything that life threw at him, and he wasn't afraid to throw something back. It was often stated that he thrived on adrenaline and was never one to back down from an adventure. He loved being a Dog Dad to his two best girls, Anna and Sassy. As a big brother, he was the perfect balance between Protector and Instigator, and his crazy antics in his childhood will be reflected on with laughter. Being an Uncle was one of his favorite titles that he earned. Chris was quick to make a joke and did everything he could to make those around him smile. Laughing until he cried was not uncommon for him, and he was a firm believer in spreading joy. He loved deeply and fiercely, which is how he will be remembered by all who knew him.
Christopher is survived by his father, Michael W. Eggleston; his mother, Wendy L. Eggleston; his sisters, Nicole M. (Adam D.) Meyer, and Melissa A. (Dustin D.) Kamp; his nephews, Landon D. Meyer, Logan M. Meyer, and Layton A. Meyer; and Angela M. Eggleston. He will be dearly missed by many other family members and friends.
Visitation will be from 4:00 pm until 7:00 pm with a celebration of life to follow at 7:00 pm both on Friday, June 24, 2022 at Newcomer Cremations, Funerals & Receptions, St. Peters Chapel, 837 Mid Rivers Mall Drive, St. Peters, Missouri 63376. Interment will be private.
