Clarence Lee Hunter Jr., born November 7, 1948 departed this life on Saturday May 15, 2021. Clarence, the eldest son of Clarence Lee Hunter Sr. and Darlice Hunter was born in Middletown, Ohio. He was brought up in the African Methodist Episcopal Church as a child where his strong faith remained. Lovingly nicknamed Toby as a youth, Clarence graduated from Middletown Public school system where he wrestled in high school. Clarence graduated with a degree in Business Administration from Central State University, where he met his wife Priscilla of 50 years. Not only was Clarence an active church member, where he chaired several committees, he was named Wayman AME Church "Man of the Year". He also volunteered his time mentoring with Junior Achievement. Clarence and Priscilla moved to St Louis, Mo. when he took a position as Industrial Engineer for Chrysler Corporation and later worked at Emerson Electric. Clarence followed and fulfilled his dreams when he opened and successfully operated Hunter's Cocktail Restaurant and Lounge. Clarence moved on to triumphantly become one of the Top 1% salesmen in the country for Lincoln Mercury.

Clarence has always had a passion for cars, both racing and showcasing them. He also had a zeal for bowling.

Clarence leaves to mourn wife Priscilla, son Kenneth (Karen), daughter Kymberlee, beloved grandchildren Leena and Langston, Brother Charles (Diane) of Houston, TX Aunts Lucretia Glass of Middletown, Ohio and Cora Glass of Columbus, Ohio.

Sister and Brother-in laws Linda and Randolph Edwards of Buffalo, New York nephew David Edwards of Buffalo New York, Nieces Ebony (James), Teresa (Kwame) of New York City along with many cousins and friends.

We love you with all of our hearts Toby! You fought courageously a disease that took away your memories but we will always have the memory of you in our hearts.
