Butch Martin, age 72 of O'Fallon, Missouri passed away on Thursday, April 14, 2022 with his family by his side.
Butch was a beloved husband, father, grandfather and friend.
He was an Army veteran and served in the Vietnam War. His passion in life was his family. He also enjoyed fishing, wood burning, jazz music and old western movies. You could always expect a joke and a good laugh when he was around.
Butch was born in St. Louis, Missouri, on July 22, 1949 to Clarence and Edna Martin (nee Stinnette).
He is survived by his wife of 48 years, Karen Martin; his children, Brian Martin and Nicole Mayer-Martin, and Patrick and Carol Martin; and his granddaughters Kaitlyn Martin, Victoria Martin and Olivia Martin.
He is preceded in death by his parents, Clarence and Edna Martin; and by his sisters, Betty Boyer, Jeanne Brassas and Darlene Janos.
In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to the Arbor Day Foundation.
No public service will be held at this time, a Celebration of Life will be held at a later date.
