Cody Tyler Schott

On Sunday, September 23, 2018, Cody Schott, husband, son and brother, passed away suddenly at the age of 27. He was born in St. Charles, MO on February 6, 1991. Cody attended Fort Zumwalt South high School in St Peters, MO. Most recently he was employed as a painter. He enjoyed music, playing video games, watching YouTube videos, cooking and eating, but he loved spending time with his family.
Cody will forever be remembered by his wife and best friend Jennifer, his parents: Veronica Schott and step-father Larry Willis, father Charles Skelton, maternal grandmother Mary (Maw Maw) Schott, brothers: Alex (Katie) Schott, Larry Willis, Auston (Katie) Heinz, sisters: Cadie Willis, Lauren (Troy) Gill and Morgan Hauser, father-in-law Rick Maze, brother-in-law Ricky (Cori) Maze, sister-in-law Leslie (Tim) Schroder, uncles: Derek (Rachel) Schott and Damon (MO) Schott, aunt Erika (Andy) Watson, 10 nieces and nephews, several cousins and other family members and friends. He was preceded in death by his paternal grandparents Danny (Dee Dee) Skelton and Marcella Skelton, his maternal grandfather Ronald (Paw Paw) Schott and his mother-in-law Judy Maze.
Visitation will be Friday, September 28, 2018 from 4:00 ~ 8:00 PM at Newcomer Cremations, Funerals and Receptions, 837 Mid Rivers Mall Dr, St Peters, MO 63376. Funeral service will be Saturday, September 29, 2018 at 11:00 AM at Journey Church 366 South Lincoln, Troy, MO 63370.
